Back-in-stock alerts. Shoppers join a waitlist on any out-of-stock product or variant and are emailed in the order they joined, capped by how many units actually arrived.
Real preorders. Built on Shopify selling plans, with product, variant or collection rules, and a limit enforced by Shopify inventory so a rush cannot oversell.
Deposits that finish. Take a percentage or fixed deposit and collect the balance before fulfillment, with automatic retries if a card fails.
